Contemporary art fair
Auckland Art Fair 09, New Zealand’s premier visual arts event, returns to Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour from May 1-3 with a select contingent of New Zealand and Australia’s leading galleries. The fair focuses on contemporary art production. Practising artists and their representing galleries will present fresh, current work, in the form of 40 solo and curated exhibitions, a sculpture court and commissioned installation. All works are for sale. A full public programme, including daily public panel discussions by a host of local and international art commentators, guided tours and artist talks, ensures that Auckland Art Fair will be a site for exploration, discovery and discussion. |
