I had the chance becoming a student of Doctor Roland Mattes, art professor and responsible for art at the Governement of Canton St Gall. <br> He supported my talents for shapes and colors and was my teacher in improving my technics in pouring reactive resins and burning out shapes out of solid steel up to 30cm in thickness.<br> As a locksmith, it was my goal to develop my own unique technics designing sculptures by burning out forms out of heavy steels plates avoiding working with lightweight sheeting materials.<br> Therefore all my sculptures are quite heavy in weight and need cranes for transports and positioning at exhibitions of better final mountings like at FIFA (Int Football Federation) where 3 sculptures decorate the garden of this organization in Zurich.<br> Expressively I wanted all the time to show a heavy structure which in my opinion is performing better and more solid and durable in comparison to colleague artists collecting iron scrap for creating modern art of all kind.<br> All my designs represent my ideas and feelings to the modern time of life, todays technologies, computers, open sky, showing strictly and clearly its limits as well as its border lines. <br> It is my strong feeling that my art is also just representing more value by its weight and top solid constructions which never could be destroyed by vandalists or weathering. <br><br> <b>CUSTOMERS/SPONSORS :</b><br> Sven Hotz, Zurich, Collector : 2 castings in resin, 5 sculptures<br> Walter Hafner, Zurich, Collector and owner of Amag Switzerland : 1 sculpture<br> Zurich Insurance Company, Surich-Seeback Office, 1 sculpture<br> Allread LTD, General Contractor , No 2 in Switzerland, Zurich, 3 sculptures and 3 castings in resin City of Horgen, Ch, Congress CEnter : 2 sculptures. <br><br> <b>ON REQUEST :</b> Copy video tape of report Swiss Television - News paper report copies of most european exhibitions <br> <br> "Die Kunst" drängt den eifrigen Anfänger oder Könner, er vergisst in seiner konzentrierten Tätigkeit seine Frau und Kinder, alle Probleme und Sorgen, ja selbst Kopfweh und Föhndruck.
